Your logbook overview page is the command center for managing your entire flight history. It combines powerful statistics tracking, flexible viewing options, and intuitive flight management tools—all designed to give you complete control over your aviation records.

Flight Statistics Card

At the top of your logbook, you’ll find a customizable statistics card that provides an at-a-glance view of your flying career. This dynamic dashboard adapts to your needs, showing exactly the metrics that matter most to you.

  • Choose from 19+ available metrics including total time, block time, night time, IFR time, cross-country time, PIC/SIC/PICUS time, dual received, instructor time, simulator time, and more
  • Drag and drop to reorder counters exactly how you want them displayed

  • Counters automatically hide when they show zero values, keeping your dashboard clean
Smart Time Formatting
  • Switch between hours:minutes format (e.g., “1,250:45”) or decimal format (e.g., “1,250.75”) based on your preferences

Opening Totals Support
  • When viewing all flights, includes your opening totals from previous logbooks
  • Filtered views show only the totals for the selected flights

Table View

The default table view provides comprehensive details about each flight:

  • Flight Times – Block time, total time, and other relevant metrics
  • Crew – Pilot-in-command, crew members, and your role

Filters persist as you navigate, and you can bookmark filtered views using URL parameters. This makes it easy to create saved views for common queries like “All IFR flights this year” or “Flights in N12345.”

Batch Operations

Manage multiple flights at once with powerful batch operations. Perfect for cleaning up duplicate entries, removing test data, or organizing large sets of flights.

Batch Selection

  • Select Individual Flights – Click checkboxes to select specific flights
  • Select All – Quickly select all visible flights (respects current filters)
  • Select Range – Use shift-click to select ranges of flights
  • Visual Indicators – Selected flights are clearly highlighted

Batch Delete

  • Select multiple flights and delete them in one operation
  • Password confirmation required for security
  • See exactly how many flights will be deleted before confirming
  • Batch operations are fast and efficient, even with hundreds of flights
Batch delete operations cannot be undone. Always double-check your selections before confirming deletion. Consider exporting your data before performing large batch deletions.

Adding and Managing Flights

Adding New Flights

Click the Add Entry button to create a new flight log entry. The comprehensive flight dialog includes:
  • Basic Information – Date, time, aircraft, route
  • Flight Times – All standard time categories
  • Crew Management – Add crew members with roles
  • Approaches – Log instrument approaches with types
  • Custom Fields – Add organization-specific fields
  • Attachments – Upload photos, documents, or other files
  • Signatures – Digital signature support for official records

Editing and Viewing

  • Quick View – Click any flight to view full details in read-only mode
  • Edit Mode – Click the edit icon to modify any flight entry
  • Inline Actions – Access common actions directly from the table
  • Bulk Updates – Use batch operations for common changes

Simulator Sessions

Track your simulator time alongside your actual flight hours. Simulator sessions are fully integrated into your logbook:
  • Separate Tracking – Simulator time is tracked independently but included in totals
  • Session Management – Add, edit, and delete simulator sessions
  • Statistics Integration – Simulator time appears in your statistics card

Your flight logs are automatically cached locally, so you can access your entire logbook even when offline. Changes sync in the background when connectivity is restored.

On mobile devices, the flight statistics card is automatically hidden to provide more space for the flight logs table. You can still access detailed statistics through the Totals page.
