Export Flight Log Data

The Export function allows you to generate professional logbook reports in multiple formats for compliance, record-keeping, and analysis.

How to Export

Access Export

From the Flight Log page, click Export to open the export dialog.

Choose Format

Select the file format for your export:
  • PDF – Professional logbook format, ready for official use
  • CSV – Raw spreadsheet data for custom analysis
  • JSON – Structured format for system integrations or data migration

Select Content Type

Choose which type of report to generate:
  • Flight Entries – Export individual logbook records
  • Total Report – Export summarized totals and statistics

Choose Standard (Flight Entries Only)

For flight entries, select the compliance format:
  • EASA FCL.050 – European format compliant with EASA regulations
  • FAA – U.S. logbook standard compliant with FAA regulations
  • (More standards coming soon – please contact us if you’d like your format supported.)
Compliance formats ensure your logbook meets regulatory requirements for checkrides, airline applications, and audits.

Set Time Frame

Select the period of data to include:
  • All Time
  • This Month
  • Last Month
  • Last 28 Days
  • Last 90 Days
  • Last 6 Months
  • Last 12 Months
  • Last 24 Months
  • Custom Range
Use custom range for specific periods like checkride preparation or job application periods.

Apply Filters (Optional)

Apply any filters you have active to export only specific flights:
  • By aircraft
  • By airports
  • By crew members
  • By date range
  • By flight rules (VFR/IFR, day/night)
Filters are automatically applied to exports. Clear filters if you want to export all flights in the selected time range.

Generate Export

Click Export to generate and download your file. The export may take a moment for large datasets.
Exports are generated on-demand and include all data matching your selected criteria.

Choose what to include in your export: Flight Entries Export:
  • All flight details
  • Date, aircraft, route
  • Flight times (total, PIC, SIC, etc.)

Total Report Export:
  • Summary statistics
  • Totals by aircraft type
  • Totals by time period
  • Currency summaries
  • Progression milestones

Select regulatory-compliant formats: EASA FCL.050 Format:
  • Complies with European Aviation Safety Agency requirements
  • Includes all required fields for EASA logbooks
  • Suitable for European checkrides and applications
FAA Format:
  • Complies with Federal Aviation Administration requirements
  • Includes all required fields for FAA logbooks
  • Suitable for U.S. checkrides and applications

Time Range Options

Select from predefined ranges or choose custom:
  • Quick Presets – Common time periods for quick exports
  • Custom Range – Specify exact start and end dates
  • All Time – Export your entire flight history
Filtered exports only include flights matching your current filters. Clear filters to export all flights in the selected time range.

Export a PDF of your flight log for checkride preparation:
  1. Select PDF format
  2. Choose “Flight Entries”
  3. Select appropriate standard (EASA or FAA)
  4. Select time range covering required experience
  5. Export and review before your checkride
Include a few extra months beyond requirements to show recent activity and currency.
Export your complete flight history for airline applications:
  1. Select PDF format
  2. Choose “Flight Entries”
  3. Select appropriate standard
  4. Select “All Time” or custom range covering your career
  5. Export and attach to application
Verify all data is accurate before submitting. Some airlines require notarized copies.
Regularly export your flight log as a backup:
  1. Choose CSV or JSON format
  2. Select “All Time”
  3. Export monthly or quarterly
  4. Store backups securely
Keep multiple backups in different locations. Cloud storage is recommended for safety.
