Best Practices

1

Keep Skydiver Records Current

Regularly update skydiver information, especially licenses and certifications. Outdated records can cause safety issues.
2

Track Gear Inspections

Monitor gear inspection dates closely. Never allow gear to be used past inspection expiration.
3

Use Manifest System

Always use the manifest system for jump operations. It ensures proper organization and safety.
4

Document Everything

Record all jumps, training, and incidents. Good documentation is essential for safety and compliance.
5

Monitor Currency

Track skydiver currency requirements. Ensure all skydivers meet currency before jumping.

Safety Considerations

Skydiving involves inherent risks. Always prioritize safety:
  • Verify all licenses and certifications are current
  • Check gear inspections before every use
  • Ensure currency requirements are met
  • Follow all safety protocols
  • Document all incidents and near-misses

Troubleshooting

  • Verify subscription includes Skydiving Add-on
  • Check module activation in settings
  • Ensure billing is current
  • Contact support if add-on should be available
  • Verify skydivers are members of organization
  • Check skydiver role assignment
  • Ensure Skydiving module is enabled
  • Verify skydiver profiles are complete
  • Check gear status (available, in use, maintenance)
  • Verify gear inspections are current
  • Ensure gear is assigned to organization
  • Review gear filters
