The Skydivers module helps you manage all skydivers in your organization. Track licenses, certifications, jump history, gear assignments, and ensure all skydivers meet safety and currency requirements.

Overview

The Skydivers module provides comprehensive skydiver management for dropzones and skydiving organizations. Maintain detailed skydiver records, track qualifications, monitor jump statistics, and ensure compliance with safety requirements.

Complete skydiver information including contact details, license information, and organizational membership.

License Tracking

Track skydiving licenses, ratings, and certifications with expiration dates and renewal requirements.

Jump History

View complete jump history including jump counts, dates, disciplines, and jump statistics.

Gear Assignments

Track gear assigned to each skydiver including parachute systems, containers, and reserves.

Currency Monitoring

Monitor currency requirements and track when skydivers last jumped. Ensure currency is maintained.

Certifications

Track various certifications including USPA ratings, instructor certifications, and specializations.

Access Skydivers

Navigate to SkydivingSkydivers from your dashboard sidebar.

See all skydivers in your organization:
  • Skydiver name and contact
  • License level
  • Jump count
  • Last jump date
  • Currency status
  • Gear assignments

Add New Skydiver

Click Add Skydiver to register a new skydiver in your organization.

Start Registration

Click Add Skydiver or Register Skydiver.

Enter Basic Information

Provide skydiver details:
  • Name - First and last name
  • Email - Contact email
  • Phone - Contact number
  • Date of Birth - For age verification
  • Address - Mailing address
  • Emergency Contact - Emergency contact information

Enter License Information

Provide license details:
  • License Number - USPA or other license number
  • License Level - A, B, C, D, or other
  • Issue Date - When license was issued
  • Expiry Date - License expiration
  • Issuing Organization - USPA, BPA, etc.

Enter Jump Statistics

Provide current jump statistics:
  • Total Jumps - Lifetime jump count
  • Last Jump Date - Most recent jump
  • Disciplines - Types of jumping (solo, formation, etc.)

Complete Registration

Review information and complete registration. Skydiver profile is created.

Profile Information

Each skydiver has a comprehensive profile:
  • Personal Information - Name, contact, demographics
  • License Details - License number, level, expiration
  • Jump Statistics - Total jumps, last jump, disciplines
  • Certifications - Ratings, instructor certs, specializations
  • Gear Assignments - Assigned equipment
  • Training History - Completed training courses
  • Medical Information - Medical certificates and notes
  • Documents - License copies, certificates, waivers

Viewing Skydiver Details

Open Skydiver Profile

Click on a skydiver’s name to view their complete profile.

Navigate Profile Sections

Use tabs to view different aspects:
  • Overview - Summary and key metrics
  • License - License and certification details
  • Jumps - Jump history and statistics
  • Gear - Assigned equipment
  • Training - Training history
  • Documents - Related documents

License Management

License Levels

Track different license levels:
  • Student - Student skydiver
  • A License - Basic skydiver license
  • B License - Intermediate license
  • C License - Advanced license
  • D License - Expert license
  • Instructor - Instructor certifications
  • Other - Other certifications

License Information

For each license, track:
  • License Number - Official license number
  • Level - License level
  • Issue Date - When license was issued
  • Expiry Date - License expiration
  • Issuing Organization - USPA, BPA, etc.
  • Status - Valid, expiring, expired
Expired licenses mean the skydiver cannot legally jump. Ensure licenses are renewed before expiration.

License Status

Licenses are color-coded by status:
  • Valid - License is current and valid
  • Expires Soon - Expiring within 30 days (warning)
  • Expired - License has expired (critical)

Access Jump History

In skydiver profile, go to Jumps tab.

View Jump Log

See complete jump history:
  • Jump number and date
  • Discipline (solo, formation, etc.)
  • Altitude
  • Aircraft
  • Notes
  • Video/photos (if available)

Filter Jumps

Filter by:
  • Date range
  • Discipline
  • Aircraft
  • Jump type

Jump Statistics

Track various statistics:
  • Total Jumps - Lifetime jump count
  • Jumps This Year - Jumps in current year
  • Jumps This Month - Jumps in current month
  • Last Jump Date - Most recent jump
  • Average Jumps Per Month - Activity level
  • Disciplines - Types of jumping

Currency Requirements

Tracking Currency

Monitor skydiver currency:
  • Last Jump Date - When skydiver last jumped
  • Currency Status - Current, expiring, expired
  • Days Since Last Jump - Time since last jump
  • Currency Requirements - What’s needed to maintain currency

Currency Status

Skydivers can have different currency statuses:
  • Current - Meets all currency requirements
  • Expiring - Approaching currency limit
  • Expired - No longer current (cannot jump)
Regular monitoring of currency helps prevent skydivers from becoming non-current. Set up reminders for skydivers approaching currency limits.

Gear Assignments

Viewing Assigned Gear

Access Gear Assignments

In skydiver profile, go to Gear tab.

View Assigned Gear

See gear assigned to skydiver:
  • Parachute system
  • Container/harness
  • Reserve parachute
  • AAD (if applicable)
  • Inspection dates
  • Assignment date

Assigning Gear

Assign Gear

Assign gear to skydiver:
  1. Open skydiver profile
  2. Go to Gear tab
  3. Click Assign Gear
  4. Select available gear
  5. Verify inspections are current
  6. Save assignment

Unassign Gear

Remove gear assignment:
  1. Open gear assignment
  2. Click Unassign
  3. Confirm unassignment
  4. Gear becomes available for others

Certifications

Certification Types

Track various certifications:
  • USPA Ratings - A, B, C, D licenses
  • Instructor Ratings - AFF, Tandem, etc.
  • Specializations - Formation, wingsuit, etc.
  • Other Certifications - Additional qualifications

Managing Certifications

Record new certification:
  1. Open skydiver profile
  2. Go to Certifications
  3. Click Add Certification
  4. Enter details
  5. Upload certificate (optional)
  6. Save
Modify certification:
  • Update expiration date
  • Change status
  • Add notes
  • Upload updated certificate
Monitor certification expirations:
  • View expiring certifications
  • Set reminders
  • Track renewal requirements

Search Options

Find skydivers quickly:
  • By Name - Search skydiver names
  • By License - Filter by license level
  • By Jump Count - Filter by jump statistics
  • By Currency - Show current, expiring, or expired
  • By Gear - Skydivers with specific gear

Advanced Filters

Use filters for specific views:
  • License Expiry - Skydivers with licenses expiring soon
  • Currency Status - Skydivers needing currency jumps
  • Jump Count Range - Skydivers with specific jump totals
  • Last Jump Date - Skydivers who jumped in date range

Keep Records Current

Regularly update skydiver information, especially licenses and jump counts. Accurate records are essential for safety.

Monitor Expirations

Set up reminders for upcoming license and certification expirations. Proactive monitoring prevents issues.

Track Currency Proactively

Monitor currency requirements regularly. Don’t wait until skydivers are out of currency to address issues.

Verify Before Jumping

Always verify skydiver status before allowing jumps:
  • License is current
  • Currency requirements met
  • Gear inspections current
  • Medical certificate valid (if required)

Document Everything

Record all jumps, training, and certifications. Good documentation supports safety and compliance.

Troubleshooting

  • Verify skydiver is a member of organization
  • Check skydiver role assignment
  • Ensure Skydiving module is enabled
  • Verify skydiver profile is complete
  • Check filters aren’t hiding skydiver
  • Verify jumps are being recorded
  • Check if jumps are linked to correct skydiver
  • Ensure jump dates are accurate
  • Review jump recording process
