Pilot
Overview
The Pilot account type is designed for individual pilots who want to log flights, track certificates, and manage their aviation activities. Perfect for private pilots, commercial pilots, and aviation enthusiasts.Prerequisites
- Valid email address (must be whitelisted during beta period)
- Basic information about your pilot certificates and ratings
Registration Process

Navigate to Registration
Go to the PilotFlows registration page at app.pilotflows.com/register.

Select Pilot Account Type
Click on the Pilot card to select this account type. You’ll see a description confirming this is for individual pilot accounts.
You should see the Pilot icon and description: “Individual pilot account for flight logging and planning”

Fill in Account Details
Complete the registration form with your information:
- Email address
- Password (minimum 8 characters)
- First and last name
- Pilot status (Student Pilot, Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot, etc.)
- Country/Region
- Referral source (optional)

Accept Beta Agreement
Read and accept the Beta Participation Agreement. This is required to participate in the beta program.

Verify Your Email
Check your email inbox for a verification message from PilotFlows. Click the verification link to activate your account.

After verification, you’ll be automatically redirected to your dashboard.
Initial Setup

Complete Your Profile
Navigate to your profile settings and add:
- Profile photo (optional)
- Additional personal information
- Contact preferences
- Notification settings

Add Your Certificates
Go to the Certificates section and add your pilot certificates:
- Pilot license type and number
- Medical certificate with expiration date
- Ratings and endorsements
- Currency requirements

Explore Your Dashboard
Familiarize yourself with the main dashboard, which shows:
- Recent flight log entries
- Certificate expiration reminders
- Quick access to key features
- Analytics overview

First Actions

Create Your First Flight Log Entry
- Navigate to Flight Log → Logbook
- Click “Add Flight” or “New Entry”
- Fill in flight details (date, aircraft, route, duration)
- Save your entry

Import Existing Logbook Data (Optional)
- Go to Flight Log → Import
- Upload your existing logbook file (CSV, Excel, or other supported formats)
- Review and confirm imported entries

Set Up Aircraft Tracking
- Add frequently flown aircraft to your aircraft list
- Track performance metrics and maintenance records
- Set up favorites for quick access
