Aircraft Owner

Overview

The Aircraft Owner account type is designed for individuals or groups who own aircraft and need to manage maintenance, technical logs, co-ownership arrangements, and compliance.

Prerequisites

  • Valid email address (must be whitelisted during beta period)
  • Aircraft registration information
  • Basic aircraft specifications

Registration Process

Navigate to Registration

Go to the PilotFlows registration page at app.pilotflows.com/register.

Select Aircraft Owner Account Type

Click on the Aircraft Owner / Co-Ownership card.
You should see the description: “Manage your aircraft, maintenance, and shared ownership”

Fill in Account Details

Complete the registration form:
  • Email address
  • Password
  • Personal/organization information
  • Ownership type (individual or co-ownership)
  • Country/Region

Accept Beta Agreement

Read and accept the Beta Participation Agreement.

Verify Your Email

Check your email and click the verification link.

Initial Setup

Create Your Organization

Set up your organization profile:
  • Organization name
  • Type (Individual Owner, Co-Ownership Group, etc.)
  • Contact information
  • Billing details

Add Your First Aircraft

Go to Aircraft → Add Aircraft and enter:
  • Registration number
  • Make and model
  • Year of manufacture
  • Basic specifications
  • Current status

Set Up Co-Ownership** (If Applicable)

If you have co-owners:
  • Add co-owner members
  • Set up ownership percentages
  • Configure cost-sharing rules
  • Set up scheduling permissions
Co-ownership features help manage shared costs, scheduling, and maintenance responsibilities.

Configure Maintenance Tracking

Set up maintenance schedules:
  • Annual inspections
  • 100-hour inspections
  • Component overhaul schedules
  • AD (Airworthiness Directive) tracking
  • Recurring maintenance items

First Actions

  1. Add Technical Log Entries
    • Navigate to Aircraft → Technical Logs
    • Create entries for recent flights
    • Record maintenance actions
    • Track flight hours and cycles
  2. Set Up Mass and Balance
    • Enter aircraft empty weight and CG
    • Configure seating configurations
    • Set up standard loading scenarios
    • Calculate mass and balance for flights
  3. Configure Scheduling (If Co-Owned)
    • Set up booking calendar
    • Define availability rules
    • Configure notification preferences
    • Test booking system
