Prerequisites

Before using the Flight School module, ensure:
  • Your organization has the Flight School add-on enabled
  • You have appropriate permissions (admin, instructor, or coordinator roles)
  • Training programs are set up (if managing students or records)
  • Students are added to your organization (if enrolling students)
Flight School is an add-on module that must be activated in your organization settings. Contact your organization administrator if you don’t see Flight School in your navigation menu. The module may appear as “Flight School” or be integrated into other organization features when activated.
Flight School add-on features may vary based on your subscription plan and activation status. Some features described in this documentation may require additional configuration or may not be available in all implementations.

Training Programs

Training Programs (also called Syllabus) are the foundation of your flight training operations. Each program contains:
  • Theory Modules - Classroom-based theory components (default tab)
  • Training Modules - Practical flight training components with lessons and tasks
  • Students - Student enrollment and management
  • Settings - Program configuration and metadata
  • Curriculum - Detailed lesson plans, learning objectives, legal documents, and annexes (separate section)
Each training program has four main tabs (Theory, Modules, Students, Settings) plus a separate Curriculum section for comprehensive program structure management.

Getting Started

1

Set Up Your First Training Program

Navigate to Training and create a new training program. Define the program structure, add modules, and configure curriculum requirements.
Start with a simple program structure and add complexity as needed. You can always edit programs later.
2

Add Students

Go to Students and enroll students in your training programs. Students must be members of your organization first.
3

Schedule Theory Courses

Use the Calendar to schedule theory courses. Assign instructors, set locations, and enroll students.
4

Create Training Records

As training sessions occur, create training records to track student progress through modules and tasks.

Support

Training records and student progress data are critical for compliance. Always verify data accuracy before finalizing records.
